In this case study from s::can, the efficacy of ceramic filtration for the provision of drinking water is monitored using a 35mm i::scan sensor to simultaneously measure TOC, UV254 and turbidity.

The multiparameter sensor is installed in a flow cell setup and used with a con::lyte controller, ensuring optimal operating conditions in terms of coagulant dose and the cleaning cycles of the membranes.

The beauty of the data produced by the i::scan is, that it is in real time, so the optimization of cleaning protocols and coagulant dose can be performed very quickly.
